Why am I Running?
I am running for Sheriff because Grand County deserves leadership that is experienced, honest, and accountable—leadership that understands how to run an efficient Sheriff’s Office while keeping public safety as the top priority. After nearly 30 years in law enforcement, I know that effective policing isn’t about politics or personalities; it’s about sound management, clear expectations, and serving both the public and the deputies who do the work every day.
My goal is to lead a Sheriff’s Office that is efficient, professional, and community-focused, where resources are used wisely, employees are treated fairly, and trust with the public is earned through transparency and results.
